Covid Update – Camp Wohelo

Greeting Friends of Wohelo,

We hope all is well with you and yours.

We are sad to say that we are not able to hold our summer camp programming again this year. We hope you will stay in touch and we can’t wait to welcome you all back next year for a wonderful summer. We miss all of our campers, their families and our staff.

We are able to rent to small groups and family groups.

Please contact us for more information: email us or call (780) 430-4062

Camp Wohelo is a great place to experience overnight camping, nestled in the trees beside Pigeon Lake, 45 minutes SW of Edmonton, AB. There are heated cabins to sleep in overnight, bathrooms with showers, a lodge with a dining room, where you will enjoy yummy, healthy meals. The activities are classic camp activities. Each day campers can choose which activities they would like to do out of a number of options.
Camp Wohelo is not a specific religious camp, we promote and lead by example the acceptance and respect for all spiritual journeys, religions, and beliefs. We want to welcome as many people, from all walks of life, as possible.
You will meet new friends. You will sing songs around the campfire. You will play on the beach, and spend time canoeing. You will hike in the woods and find moss and rabbit holes and see squirrels and wildflowers. You will try out archery, do crafts, learn about our environment, and play games. We’ll enjoy dress up dinners, funky themes, and s’mores and hot dogs cooked over the fire. You will get to know more about the relationships between plants and animals and humans. Camp Wohelo provides an opportunity for exploring, learning, and being a part of a wonderful tradition. Rain or shine, there will be fun activities for everyone to participate in. Campers stay at camp overnight.
No worries! Camp is all about making new friends. We’ll all play get to know you games on the first day. We’ll introduce you to your camp leaders and cabin mates. By the end of the day we’ll be laughing and having an awesome time!
We will try our best to put friends in the same cabin. Each cabin is assigned according to age/grade. Make sure to put on your registration who you would like to be bunked with and we’ll do our best to make it happen!
We are more than able to accommodate special diets or allergies. There is a space on the form to fill in. Just to be sure, please contact us.
